Peer Review

Every funding application is subject to our rigorous and unbiased Peer Review Process. Once your funding application has been agreed in principle we pass the details to our Peer Review Panel. The members of this panel come from a wide range of areas and will include, but not be limited to, medical and business professionals and patient representatives. We want to ensure we are as transparent as possible in all areas of our funding, be it medical research or grant support to patients.

    Following a successful Peer Review, the Charity would consider an application for funding. A formal application, stating the amount required, should be sent to:

    All such funding would require confirmation and final approval from Kidney Cancer UK’s board of trustees before any formal offer is made or any funds are release .

    Terms and Conditions for Peer Review

    By agreeing to peer review an application for Kidney Cancer UK you must agree to declare any conflicts of interest to Kidney Cancer UK and must treat the information contained within any application reviewed as confidential. If you are unsure as to whether or not you have a conflict of interest in relation to the application, please contact John Chapman on the main office number 01223-870008 (Mon-Fri 9am – 5pm).

    Kidney Cancer UK never discloses the names of comments left by reviewers to applicants.
