Jennifer Vaughan – My kidney cancer story

by | Aug 2, 2021

.

This video was filmed by Rhea Vaughan-Parry as part of her university degree. Rhea is the daughter of Jennifer Vaughan, a 54 year old teacher from London with kidney cancer. Rhea wanted to be able to share this very emotive film with the wider kidney cancer community and with the support of Kidney Cancer UK has achieved her wish.

Rhea’s mum, Jennifer, is very family orientated and is close to her own mother, three brothers, her nieces and nephews but in 2018 she was diagnosed with kidney cancer and has been bravely battling ever since. She has always wanted to share her story to inspire other people who are going through the same experience as her.
