Kidney Cancer Awareness Week 2025
Kidney Cancer Awareness Week: 3rd – 7th February 2025
We are proud to lead Kidney Cancer Awareness Week for the 11th consecutive year. From Monday 3rd to Friday 7th February 2025, we’re calling on our incredible community of friends and supporters to join us in starting conversations that can save lives.
This week is all about raising awareness of kidney cancer. During the week, we will be sharing stories from real patients and hosting free webinars from kidney cancer specialist. In the webinars, you can expect discussion about topics such as; Navigating Kidney Cancer, Returning to Work after Surgery, and Clinical Trials. Kidney cancer is the UK’s sixth most common cancer and we want to make sure no one’s first encounter with the words “kidney cancer” is during a diagnosis.

Go Green for Green Friday
Kidney Cancer Awareness Week will conclude with it’s iconic Green Friday. Green Friday takes place of the last day of Kidney Cancer Awareness Week (Friday 7th February),
and is a chance for you to share your involvement. Encourage your friends, family and colleagues to wear something green and share on socials using #KCAW2025. We also encourage landmarks across the UK to light up green to honour the occasion. Look out for a landmark near you.
- Do you know of a local landmark who could take part in Green Friday? Please let us know at hello@kcuk.org.uk
With your support, we aim to:
- Educate others about the symptoms of kidney cancer.
- Highlight ways to reduce risk through healthier lifestyle choices.
- Bring kidney cancer into the spotlight and spark vital conversations.
We’re here to support, inform and listen. Let’s use this week to inspire awareness and support our kidney cancer community.
