Kidney Cancer Awareness Week Auctions
To celebrate the eighth Kidney Cancer Awareness Week and Green Friday, taking place between the 6th & 10th of February 2023, Kidney Cancer UK is delighted to be auctioning off four fantastic opportunities. The auctions will launch on February 6th and run for 10 days.
Auction 1: Three-night stay on the Isle of Skye for two people
Kidney Cancer UK are offering a unique opportunity of a complimentary three night stay for two people in one of The Croft Chalet Pods on the Isle of Skye. The offer comes complete with a special guests welcome pack.
The Croft Chalet Pods offer self-catering accommodation, private parking and free wi-fi, and your stay will be in either pod ‘Iona’, ‘Katrine’ or ‘Morvan’.
The Croft Chalet Pods are set in a quiet location and just a few minutes’ walk from the ferry terminal and the local national bus service, on the north-west coast of Skye. They are ideally located for exploring everything the island has to offer; whether it is walks, cycling, boat trips, the ferry to the Western Isles, or just a quiet weekend away to relax from the bustle of city life.
Nestled in Uig Bay, all the pods have a beautiful sea view. The pods are close to the Fairy Glen, which are small, round topped grassy hills with lochans (ponds) in between, which gives the Glen an otherworldly feel. The Fairy Glen is just five miles away from the Quiraing, a remnant of an ancient landslide that has formed a breathtaking series of valleys, gorges and mountainous peaks. Visiting the Quiraing means you can see some stunning aspects of the island from mountains to lochs and sea views.
The stay is to be taken before the end of July, 2023.
Auction 2: Concert Tickets & Meet and Greet with Paolo Nutini
Our second incredible auction is two tickets and a meet and greet with the supremely talented singer Paolo Nutini at his Sold Out Belfast show at Belsonic on June 17th 2023.
Multi-million-selling recording artist Paolo Nutini recently finished a mammoth 2022 tour of Europe and the UK following the release of his No. one bestselling 4th studio album ‘Last Night In The Bittersweet’.
Due to popular demand, Paolo is back touring the UK and Europe this year and taking his incredible live show to America, Canada and Australia this spring. Take advantage of this spectacular opportunity.

Auction 4: Striker the Tiger
Following our hugely successful ‘Home a Teddy’ appeal, we’ve received a heart warming and poignant letter from a girl aged 11 who sadly lost her father to Kidney Cancer when she was just six years old.
She has donated Striker, her favourite teddy, and we hope that with your help, you can generously bid on Striker and give him an amazing new forever home.
